Where to Begin....whew...Oprah, designers on the rise!

okay, really it's been WAAAAYYYY too long...lots of excitement on the homefront that i never got a chance to catch up on blogging about.....first check out the spring Designers on the Rise on stylebakery.com:

cool style site....they work w/ABC and the view on style stuff....sooo needless to say i was flattered when they asked Em Tanner designs to be a "designer on the rise" for the next 6 mos!

Next....never mentioned my tees were on OPRAH! And no, i am not implying that they are one of "oprah's favorite things"....just the simple fact that they were on there is exciting enough to me..i mean how often do you get calls/emails out the wazoo saying "OMG i saw your tees on Oprah"....?And of course, i didnt remember to watch so i missed it-or actually i was at disney world....ill catch it next time around though....It was wierd when i was watching the Today show and saw my tees when i had no clue they would be flashed on there....it's just exciting...so i really want to catch this "Montage of big sis/lil sis/lil bro...." (as it was described to me)!

Okay, those are just a couple tid bits on the biz homefront....not even close to all of it but i gotta run and work on the site...working my butt off on the site, swatches, the whole nine yards and i am sooo not there yet but i can see the light at the end of the tunnel....after a year of pure hell and hard work....and honestly i always felt confident in my products but never in my wildest dreams did i think so many people would find me...the website is actually "ranked" as far as unique users per month....so needless to say i am CRAZY....CRAZY busy so everyone who needs stuff from me....please dont hate me (you too mom) just know that i am literally working as hard as my crazy self possibly can...many nights watching the sun come up...sleep is overrated when you are on a mission! more soon! egt

ha! she is the retail sales director..and she is sooo gonna want to kick my ars when she gets on my site in the morning...ha! i crack myself up...i feel like a im box should pop up and be Jill's voice like on lands end's virtual shopping experience..i think retail sales director was the title we made up..ha! We are sooooo official here me and my "staff"...=)! Okay, on a serious note Jill (Jill Johnson that is---yes, Hutton's mom for my blogreaders that dont actually know us...everyone knows who Hutton is!=))...she really has taken over all phone calls/questions/emails regarding retail sales....Laura is now handling the wholesale portion and i am just floating around trying not to go INSANE...which i definitely would if not for these two gems! I LOVE YOU JILL & LAURA..HA...yep i know im crazy it's 2:53 and i am designing new calendars and some Brand spankin' new products....it never stops...would someone pls tell me how to turn it off and sleep, eat, be human again! Okay, so anyway, pleeeeaaasssseee anyone w/questions direct them to egtcustomerservice@yahoo.com she's got the answers and if she doesnt im on the phone telling her what to type...ha! This is huge but i really need everyone to order through the website now ...i mean like even my own mother....we have simply outgrown being able to accept email orders and remember to enter them...they will nine times out of ten fall through the cracks! too much on our plate to not be "automated"! Also, if you do need Jill you can give her a buzz or email her but she does have 5 screamin' kids (wait...Jill do you have 6 and i have 5 or you have 5 and i have 4?...JK--i say that everytime...her 5th has thrown me for a loop-now i dont even know how many i have..ha!)...anyway, email is probably going to get a faster response although she is lots better than me about the phone...she will get back to ya as soon as she can....and my girl is keeping up w/it daily....more than laura and i could say when we were trying to "do it all"..ha! we sucked. okay, change your emails to egtcustomerservice and pls start directing all traffic (retail that is...wholesale remains the same) to egtcustomerservice@yahoo.com... We will be at Gigi's in Rosemary Beach on the 14th and 15th for the town center trunk show! Very excited to soak in some sun and get a little r&r...not much as this show was "hoppin" last year...but still a change from the "daily grind"...which i am DROWNING IN...i think i now know what it might feel like to be "buried alive"....new peeps on the horizon too....we now have a "wholesale department" which Laura is in charge of and a "retail deptartment"....staaaaaayyyy tuned for my next blog....announcing who it is that is gonna save mine and laura's life and run the retail dept...etc! PRAISE THE LORD! she needs an "official" announcement blog..can't just announce casually in this one...ha! Hope to see ya at the beach!
