Taking mental break from ....

editing shoots, tees, cards, cutting, scoring, printing...ahhhh....really MUST finish....or i am gonna go crazy...just never seem to be getting to the bottom of the Christmas piles! Only about 7 more sets of cards to get out...im a gettin' there! woo hoo! Oh and Jill's...everyone eagerly anticipating the johnson family card can rest easier (she was planning on not doing cards this year...i knew she wouldnt be able to do it!ha.) after she got 2-3 cards mentioning "cant wait to see what you do this year"..the regret kicked in and were gonna be dreaming something up! I have the "wall of achievement" in the archway...every card gets posted up there as soon as i get them packaged and ready to roll..have done this for a while now-sometimes i just sit and stare and feel accomplishment...ha! really though i do....it looks like we get TONS of cards but really they are all mine that i printed an xtra for the wall! ha. Kristine's cute card did make it up there too today though..You must have a super clever card to get on "THE WALL"..ha!. Worn out as can be...just to sum up where i am at in the game at the moment! AND i still have to come up w/my cards...that is the kicker...kris will hate me during the process! However, it is looking up as i am sure most of my stores and regulars have noticed that i now have someone else handling most of the "customer service", shipping, etc...had to be done...love talking w/everyone but i just simply cannot fill orders, design, ship, and chat all in a day! So best bet to reach me these days for biz purposes is to shoot me an email to emtannerdesigns@yahoo.com (note this is a new address...have to separate personal from biz at this point to be efficient)...we are VERY timely on answering emails...both Laura and myself have access to this and check it throughout the day...Here is a darling pic of a darling little girlie i just thought i'd post...

Finally! Had loses a tooth!!!

Okay, so Hadly finally loses her first tooth at school the other day....she has eagerly awaited this day for quite some time! Kris is out of town and he of course is the first person she wants to call and tell...so i dial him up and let her break the news....then later everyone goes up to bed while i am holed up in the office printing christmas cards galore (needing to get another printer to run them both to try and keep up....ahhhh)...at around 4am i decide to stumble up to bed and i go in to check on each kiddo one by one...yes, i still check to be sure they are all breathing..even haydn who is 9! that's just me....I do it to Kris too...if he sleeps late on Saturday I sometimes go stare him right in the face to be sure he is alive...yes, i know im nuts!...soooo i make my way into Had's room and see a little note w/her tooth on it in the bed beside her (you can see the tooth in the pic if you look real close)...i start reading trying to make out what she is trying to say (not a perfect speller yet..but pretty good bc i figured it out!)...for the first couple of lines i was about to cry bc it was so sweet and she and I had argued as usual so i was feeling bad too....

"tooth fery, ples dont take my tooth

my daddy is spost (supposed) to see it"

at this point i am thinking ahhh...what a sweet baby girl...getting all sentimental...then i read on...

"but leave me some cash"

I started laughing my ars off and ran for the camera....had to document this one for daddy to see for real! THEN i am like oh crap i cannot let her wake up and the tooth fairy hasnt come soooo i run down to my purse to get some $ and all i have is 3 20's...the little turd got twenty bucks for her first tooth bc i had NOTHING ELSE..NOTTA...but the tooth fairy could NOT let her down! soooo needless to say, the tooth fery did leave her some cold hard cash..but she'll probably take it back this week for diet dr. peppers..ha!

okay, so i think i must be crazy! Don't get me wrong i LOVE all my stores, clients, business, etc....but i have NEVER worked sooooo hard in my life...ha! at least it's fun work huh? I never knew the "mad holiday rush" would start so soon! I got over 100 faxes in on sunday morning--from ONE store and all personalized tees....YIKES-and they havent stopped yet! actually, almost all of the ones from Sunday are done, but this season sho aint gonna be easy! If i didnt have any pride i'd post a photo of my office and me...hideous and catastrophic! oh well...I am now starting to stress over my own holiday cards....do i do pretty or fun w/a funky t on since i do send like 200...might as well have my stuff on it? eh, dunno yet....it will come to me i am sure though! One thing i DO KNOW is that no one should be expecting my card anytime before christmas eve....ha! seriously...okay, it is 2:55am and i have just been editing pics from all my recent sessions so ill post this little pretty girl...what an angel....yeah, looks are deceiving arent they Cass!? Have a good one...heck i might as well just stay up and start friday...who knows.

Funky T's take on Atlanta!

yea! here we "grow" again...okay-what a cheeseball! ...anyway, got this great new store gig in Atlanta....multi location store....It just looks like my kinda place...cant wait to go check it out and shop there...Limetree gifts is the more grown up store and Lil' Squeeze is the kiddo version...how freaking cute is that! Another very cool, hip mom store owner...looking forward to working with her! They should be in several of the stores by next week...well, that is if the kiddos and hubby cooperate this week and over the weekend..ha! Bottomline, if you are in the atlanta area or traveling through there i think this is a "must stop" kind of boutique!

This!....Oh how excited i am about my new washer and dryer...My sweet little momma got it for me since my cleaning lady stopped cleaning (she was doing my laundry bc i just cannot keep up!)...mom thought this was the ticket and boy was she right...i FINISHED (which is unheard of in the tanner house) ALL of my laundry on saturday....holy cow, kristine was right...this is a life changing, fine piece O' machinery!
