Hildy's valentine for school....

one down 3 to go..ha! thought this one turned out cute...a little retro dick and janeish i thought...whatever that means?! Just a little preview on what's in store...yes, i know there are a gazillion charicatures of kiddos out there...BUT the photographer in me catches the catchlights in the eyes, pupils, eyelashes, etc...so a little different twist......sorry, not too much bloggin' these days...working hard on all our new stuff that is just around the corner. Ok, so everyday i become more and more baffled by how many people visit my site and my blog...i mean it is just crazy to me and growing daily! I must admit i still take everything personal ... bc to me emtannerdesigns is just me-a crazy mommy of 4 who has a quick temper, we'll just say not always the most lady like vocabulary for a southern gal..oops!.., a stange knack for self teaching pretty much anything i want to do??, and i think just a pretty strait forward "what you see is what you get" kind of gal! Oh and a crappy english student so i hope no one really pays attention to that!

so anyway... i am feelin' the LOVE! I have to admit i am addicted to my stat counter's visitor path....i love to see where everyone is from...some from hong kong, and pretty much all over....I get so excited when my visitor path pages takes me to one of your blogs/friends blogs, etc...it does that when someone has a link on a blog w/my site and people are linking to me from that....so i have stumbled upon quite a few of your blogs that way....ya see, to me because people are posting stuff about emtannerdesigns, adding me to their fave sites, just mentioning my name (which yes, i know is a company to those who dont personally know me) makes me want to know you....so i love reading the blogs and sooo appreciate the "shout outs" i have found in them! I feel like were buds...ha, as always at 3 am i am a dork...but really i personalize it when i see...."i adore emtannerdesigns"...i am like ahhh they like me...when no, they like the cute lunchbox, shirt, etc...but hey that's okay too! okay, starting to ramble i know..you get the point ....i appreciate so much everyone who is spreading the word, posting on blogs, visiting my site, just telling your neighbor about this cute tee you saw, everything!! I am loving the x's and o's...i have never seen them separate before...may be out there but i havent seen it?? I think bc i am always thinking of my "8 little penpals" on the tube, my 4 kids, my friends 5 kids i just always think in "bundles" (thanks laura.."bundles")-there will be more valentines day tees for like only children...you know ones that dont "play off each other" too! poor Laura is getting bombarded w/emails about...The "ORIGINAL" Funky Family Planner...actually Kate's pink and chocolate one the she helped us design the layout...yep, it's magnetic w/to do's and do not forgets...boxes on the bottom....sooooo I thought since it is January and TIME TO GET ORGANIZED...whew, the story of my life....I should post the product on my blog. Also, to try and answer laura's emails all at once to take some of the load off of her...the poor thing answers emails while she designs, designs, traces out my designs for a whole new line (chick is a architectural genius), oversees the lunchbox conveyer, mixes resin, plots, cuts, edits, checks each calendar for perfection before shipping, shipping, answers emails, phone calls, deals w/ my butt calling every 5 minutes, plate molds, answers emails, etc!...she is my SAVIOR! What i would do w/o her...okay, well, all the manufacturing is actually on J (sorry J...you are "behind the scenes" so no one knows your name...which i am quite positive you'd prefer to keep it that way! So i am soooo gonna try and get the magnetic option and kate's calendar up on my site for easy ordering but in the meantime (sorry L)if you have seen a glimpse of something you want but dont see of course you are more than welcome to email us at www.emtannerdesigns@yahoo.com to inquire about the product....lots of new stuff just around the corner...lots of new stores in the works (Atlanta, Birmingham, Tuscon to name a few)...We are super excited about "gettin' FuNkY" in 2008! I cannot imagine having more than 2 girls in the house...i was secretly praying for twin boys when i knew twins were in the works..shhh...oh how i love my girls but lord they are dramatic!! Just gave myself a break to check out the "old files" i keep finding that i have never edited....sooo fun...there is some good shit in the archived files! Check out these of the drama queens... Had & I were headed to the broadway annie...hmmm....i decided to eat at Calhoun's because she was wearing Matilda Jane and i'd have some scenery to secretly squeeze in a photo shoot...i am such a nag...one day she'll be glad she has them though I hope! ...One of my fave parts of this pic is the ratty nail polish...i know i am wierd but that is just SOOOO hadly...Lulu is back in the sun...and my wierd fave part of this pic is her cute little doo doo roll messy ponytail...I always tell jill that ml looks so cute "messy cute"...my girls dont ever get "messy cute"...they are either Perfected by mommy (drives my mom crazy that my girls will have their hair washed and dried EVERY MORNING...usually curled a bit too just to get it to flip the right direction...they are trained to stand on the same stool...forbidden to go downstairs until the hair is done...BUT we may not have time to eat breakfast)OR just nasty ars filthy...way beyond the cute part! ha....I know that is awful...they do get to eat in the car though....ok so what i love about this pic is that hildy really is "messy cute" ...woo hoo...I mean sometimes i try to stage this look and cant pull it off for some reason...Kristine has a great "messy cute" little girlie too! Just love that look on little girls! Okay, sorry for this stupid, pointless, rambling blog...turning in ...going crazy but i actually have some complete egt catalog pages....hooray it's gettin' there! Almost gonna breathe again!

Just wondering...

if anyone who does photography for a living EVER sees all their pics...just found this and barely even remember taking them..love it though! I need to take a 2 week vacation, lock myself in my office and sift through my family photos, print pics for myself (and my mom of course), etc...it would probably be amazing what i would find and so exciting to take time to do those 4 humongo prints i want to go over the couch but never get to! Anyone feelin' my pain out there?! I am sure of it!

Here are the infamous funky plates that recently aired on Jon & kate that i keep getting many many emails about! yes, i know they should be on my site ...but truthfully i am still working myself into a frenzy w/year end stuff...counted over 2000 shirts today to get my dad/cpa off my butt...ha! whew...i HATE INVENTORY! Sooooo, next week we will still be taking orders but will technically be "off" to wrap up the printing of all our wholesale books and get 2008 under way and FINE TUNED! I have a stack of i think 135 stores now wanting to carry funky t's which i am so excited a greatful for BUT we want to do it RIGHT!...so we will get the wholesale books to each of you just as soon as they are completed and up to par! At this rate everything MUST be organized or we will go NUTSO! I promise it will be so great and easy we just have to shut everything down to get it done right....after that comes the new and improved website and all the new 08' products, responsibility charts, new tees, world maps, lots of fun plates, babysitter boards, keychains, jewlery (for little girlies), and a brand new line still underway "me to a tee" (no pun intended..ha), wall art, etc. etc. etc!!!...so stay tuned there is so much funkiness in store i cant even name it all!
